Leo Duong is a former business owner, repairing electronics, for three years right before the covid pandemic. After closing down in 2021 along with many others on his street, he then took part in the military looking for a new career before wanting to be released due to a worsening body condition. As a former member of the military for a short time, he is familiar with serving the people and will continue to do so with the best intentions and dedication.
His goal in working with like minded people is to help address the lack of social opportunities, events and guidance that has been the leading cause of loneliness and social starvation throughout Toronto. It is his intention to work with the professionals in these fields and everyday people to find solutions to aid people who are losing passion or direction in the slowing economy by working toward providing more resources to foster like minded people and environments to share life long skills.
Being part of the centrist party, he also seeks to address the extremism that are taking away people’s freedoms and harming livelihood, but his forefront will always be for the citizens of Canada.
